Villa Maria Reserve Clifford Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2021

This 2020 Reserve Clifford Bay Sauvignon Blanc encompasses everything fresh and vibrant about Marlborough from the cooler and windier Awatere valley. Pungent aromatics of lemongrass, jalapeno and fresh herbs leap from the glass, with the classic flavour of limes and the crunch of freshly picked garden peas.

These 3 vineyards are in the coastal Awatere sub-region near the Pacific Ocean at the most easterly point of Marlborough. The cooling ocean influence and predominant easterly breezes deliver cool and slow growing seasons therefore grapes retain high natural acidities and retain pungent green characters.
